Internet Chess Club Announces "Tactics Tornado"

---BREAKING---

In an incredible turn of events and show of innovation, the Internet Chess Club announces “Tactics Tornado,” a fast-paced timed puzzle game.  Players will accumulate points by guessing tactical chess puzzles and compete for positions on the hourly and daily Tactics Tornado Leaderboard.

The database of puzzles will come from games played on the Internet Chess Club server in the previous month.  Thus, the February 2021 database of puzzles will come from the 17 games played on ICC throughout January.

When posed the question “how does this differ from Chess.com’s Puzzle Rush, Lichess.org’s Puzzle Storm, or ChessTempo?”, the Internet Chess Club’s software developer, FM Antonin Ginsburg did not comment.

ICC’s membership spokesperson, Georgian Damir Studenidze, mentioned to the Chess Onion: “We believe that Tactics Tornado will double our paid membership in a big way, from 4 to 8.”  This new feature is only available on ICC’s downloadable platform, BlitzIn – the Internet Chess Club has yet to release a web-based platform or phone/tablet app.
